Hypericum tetrapterum: found usefully in margins and verges. It is good for pollinators and this species can be used in herbal medicine or teas. Flowing and setting seed in August. growing to 50cm it fits in well and does not dominate.
In pastures that are used for hay or fodder or grazing, St Johns Wort is not welcome. An early cut will prevent it seeding as populations can spread slowly overtime.
