These have been harvested cleaned and dried and packed on the farm for ultimate freshness. Maximum sowing rate 1g/m2. You can go even lower as will spread rapidly. This plant will thrive in both Acid and Alkaline soils. Ideal for sowing directly into Meadow Grasses in an area that gets full sun in March and grow throughout the UK. This is a pretty yellow flower found in traditional hay meadows throughout Northern Europe. Because many fields are cut in June this plant is not commonly found anymore. The plant is a sought-after species for conservationists who try to encourage colonisation and introduce diversity to meadows. This seed germinates from early March-May and we recommend sowing this between July and the end of November. All seed is harvested directly from our meadows.
